So I went houselooking again. Found one house for under $200k (as in the ONLY house for under $200k), in a pretty shitty area 30 miles away from work. 1 bed, 1 bath, 308 sq. ft.

Trust me, it'll sell. Probably for more than they're asking too. I don't know why my parents are still living here, they bought a house for $91k 20 years ago and it could sell for $400k tomorrow. Oh, and their other house purchased for $35k about 8 years ago that would probably sell for $300k as well. Man, if that shit was mine, I'd so god damn be living somewhere far away right now.

My parents bought their house in 1978 for $65,000; at the time it was ballpark 1400 sq. feet. It's now ballpark 2000 sq. feet and was appraised in 2004 at $915,000.
