My Review of GHOST SHIP

I agree wholeheartedly on your review. I know what gives this music the power or some people call it an anointing. It is the Christ-centered lyrics ! They break from the mundane to the divine.
The lyric that speaks powerfully from "Wonder of it All" is "we bow before your throne, because our ways are not your own. The music is about as non-compromising as the lyrics as it comes in fast, furious and Shawn Benson drumming as if for his life ( as the double bass go double speed)
The slightly popy "Around the world and Back" has a guitar solo that in the words of Matt " Jon just nails it!". The message of restoration, getting back to the simple truth of the Gospel is made alive in this solo and the line "Be not afraid, your price is paid!"
So long overdue congratulations to Theocracy from a desperate Canadian fan crying for God inspired Metal from the Great White North (actually Vancouver, B.C.)
Cheers,
Wes Dyck
