A few days ago I downloaded Scrutinized off of Hypocrisy's website because I've heard great things about them. I must say, I wasn't impressed. Nevertheless, I went and bought the CD just in case I was missing anything. Where the hell have they been my whole life!? I heard a little bit of their stuff from The Final Chapter and I didn't like it that much, but Virus kicks ass. From start to finish I loved everything, even a new found joy for Scrutinized. A Thousand Lies is an amazing song too. So, my question is, what other CD's of theirs should I get. Should I give the final Chapter another chance?

there's something to like and something to dislike on most of their albums... virus is a real exception

I'd say get ABDUCTED

Abducted was the album that really hooked me, though I really don't like a few songs on it, there are some AMAZING ones (e.g. Roswell 47, Paradox, When The Candle Fades, Slippin' Away, Drained)

I would say get Abducted, Hypocrisy, Into The Abyss, The Arrival, The Fourth Dimension.

In that order. But hey, they all kick ass and if you can't pick and choose get what you can
