Happy little school girl I am!! Well... I'm a school girl for ONE more semester...

I looked up tabs for Revelations... and it was GOOD! hehe...
I have weak hands and have to work on some speed and strength exercises... do you guys know any?
I'll practice twice a day! *promise*

A pretty blue Squire by Fender... My very first electric (I've had an acoustic for YEARS... I took lessons when I was a wee lass)... with a tiny 15 watt Fender amp... I love learning it :)
I bought Squire mini strat for my 6 year old nephew... I'll probably give him my amp as well for X-mas

Word of advice, if you run into a situation like I did where the muscles in your forearms become sore, stop playing until they're no longer sore and then give them another week after that. (It was probably just a case of the muscles getting used to playing with strings that size. It's never happened since.) As to speed and strength, go to Guitar Center and look for the Jaco Pastorius video or DVD. There's some good techniques to learn on that video and you'll see some playing that will blow your mind. Otherwise, you'll have to send me a private message.

And, as to school, stay in it for college. You can delay putting off having to get a REAL job for at least a few more years. :Smug:

Congrats on the new ax! I have been thinking of buying a bass myself...actually I'm just looking for a good excuse to buy a new amp!

I am with you, Sara. I love checking out new gear (or old gear, for that matter)! You can usually find me a Guitar Center every week or so, just drooling and walking around...of course I do the same thing at Pep Boys...

If she's old enough... or the place is an all-ages club... but that's the general idea...

she's also looking to get into the school's talent show and do some Maiden

Keyser is very proud of her corrupting influence

Well... "participants" true... but no one ever said GUESTS weren't allowed... *shrug* ...j/k
Very true. That would be bringing in "ringers," which would place you at an unfair advantage and make everyone unequal. :Smug:

As you can tell, I'm not an egalitarian.
