I wanted to thank everyone that dropped me emails when I departed the band; it really meant a lot to me. The 7 years I spent with Division will always have a warm spot in my heart and I still consider all the guys among my best friends. I have been taking some medication to help with the tendonitis and things were starting to get better.... until this past weekend.

The previous owner of my home, someone that considered himself to be a jack of all trades (but really sucked at it), built a monster workbench in my basement which conveyed when I purchased the home. No wonder, since the behemoth wouldn't fit back up the stairs after it was built. This past weekend, I decided to take the thing apart and take it to the dump. Little did I know when I started that he used 6" nails and glue to hold it together. So here I am, pulling this monster apart with a crowbar when I feel something snap in my left arm - then it goes completely numb for about 30 minutes.

After a trip to a specialist to see exactly what happened, I was told that I have a severe case of biscep tendonitis in my left arm accompanying the moderate case of tendonitis I already had in both arms. The tendon in question is the one that allows you to pivot your forarm at the elbow, which if ruptured can potentially cause you to lose partial use of your arm.

The doctor has given me some new medications, a new brace and some restrictions, but it's looking like he might have to cut me open to fix the damage done. Hopefully it won't come to that.

I'm really glad Division is going well - keep at it guys, you all are the best.

Take care,

Major OUCH Dan! Hope your wife is giving you lots of tender loving care to go with all the stuff you have gotten from the Doc. I'll sacrifice a bucket of KFC to Jobu that you don't have to go under the knife!

HUGS!

Coldie and la familia!

Wow, Dan...sorry to hear you're having such a rough time lately :(
I hope it doesn't come down to surgery - I'll join Coldie in the KFC sacrificing!

Take care.
