...So they were supposed to play before Opeth all along? Damn it.*kicked off the TOUR*
I'm pretty sure they're on the rest of this, probably just not making the Canadian dates.
Nachtmystium are solid dudes, don't judge them based on fucking rumors.
Due to some issues beyond our control, we've been forced to pull off of the Opeth / High On Fire tour. We're aggressively working to try to get things together for the 2nd leg of our fall tour starting in Los Angeles on October 8th with Wolves in the Throne Room.
We apologize to anyone who was hoping to see us on the Opeth leg of the tour.
Thanks to all of those who came out in support at the shows that we did manage to play, it was great seeing you maniacs out!!
Metal and Hell,
Nachtmystium.
Yeah I just got Assassins. It's good!i'm a black metal fan too, and i didn't like their old stuff, but their new album is a bit beyond just stright up black metal. it has some progressive elements
i read in july's terroriser that they based the new album off the pink floyd album meddle. it's pretty cool, although i'm not the biggest pink floyd fan
^yes, like ben stiller
Commented NACHTMYSTIUM in a statement: "Due to some issues beyond our control, we've been forced to pull off the OPETH/HIGH ON FIRE tour. For anybody who's seen a show since Nachtmystium left the tour, what were the set times like for Opeth and High on Fire? Did either band play extended sets or did the show just end earlier or what?
It is very unlikely that Opeth extended their set. It's their tour, they'll play as long as they want to play. 10 songs is pretty much all they play at most headliners, it seems to be what they're comfortable with, so I wouldn't expect anything.
High on Fire might have been extended, or the venue might have added on a local band, I couldn't say anything about that.
