Just went cd shopping and dropped almost $150 !!! (tax return)

it used to be so easy when I only had the cd store to find metal cds as no one stocks everything out there except the defunt cdgb's in Phoenix and metal devastation.

From what I've heard from the new In Flames, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

I thought R2R was okay, but not nearly as good as their previous stuff... Soundtrack, though, just really rubs me the wrong way. It's simplistic and poor songwriting, I couldn't hear a single lead in any of the three songs I heard, the riffs are repetitive and downright boring (how many times can you blugeon the same chord in repetition one song?) and Anders new vocal style is more like a teen-angst whine... which is something I loathe with a passion.

But hey, different strokes and all that.

I just really, really disliked what I heard off that cd.

Yeah that's what i said, in fact i almost threw up. Then the fuckin' shit grew on me. So yeah now i had to buy it. I like it, it's weird but i did enjoy the songs i had, so therefore i bought it. No worries though, i did preorder the new Vehemence!

I really do not like the "new" In Flames. They have gone a bit overboard with their conformed sound, and to me they are just super boring now. R2R was pushing the envelope and I liked that album, but this new album is shat. I like maybe 2 songs on the whole thing, if that
