Simpson said while the weather has been unusually cold, it probably isn't the worst ever.

"The last ice age was 14,000 years ago, and I'm quite sure it's warmer than that," he said.

There's only one way to prove if the guy is an idiot: ask him if global warming exists, and whether it is the result of manmade causes. If he says no, strip him of his license.

Actually I don't think we've been keeping track of the earth's weather for a long enough period of time to make and conclusions about global warming. The theory makes sense to me, but there is no proof.
