hey am new to recording and all this. When a have my mix sounding good in pro-tools a bounce it to put on cd or ipod. on the cd is sounds ok but on the ipod when listening to it with headphones it sounds dull but when put it on the dock to my speakers in the living room it sounds better.A just cant get it to sound the same on all speakers/ipod

cheers chris

Are you listening to the stock headphones that come with the ipod? That is probably the problem, as those are not the best. A mix will never sound exactly the same wherever you take it. Also, if it's on your ipod it's most likely a lossy format (mp3, aiff). You lose alot of the higher frequencies when converting (like 16k and above).

fatalforce. a was at first but after tryed another pair it sounded a wee bit better. yeah am converting to lossless so it converting where am losing the high end thanx for that man is there anythin a can do there?
