NEED help on itunes please

My computer had to go into for repairs and got wiped basically but i backed up my itunes library database file so it should have all the play counts etc . Now my computers back. How do i use that file so all my play counts and stuff are on my new itunes? any questions about my problem? Thanks

I'm assuming you're trying to get your music back onto your computer from your iPod. This is the way that I did it when it happened to me (and probably the easiest way): Plug your iPod into your computer and open iTunes. Next find your iPod drive on your computer and open the music folder. You will see all of these folders that say (F001, F002, etc). This is where your music is kept. Select all of these and drag them into iTunes. You may or may not have to edit your tags
