Need help quick!

I'm in the middle of recording a song that needs to be done asap, and for some reason Cakewalk session drummer is crashing whenever I open it

Are there any free pieces of software that would play either a click I can trigger from apptrigga or I can load my samples in to play from a midi track?

Also, if nothing else works would someone be willing to quickly run them through ez drummer or something I can trigger off?

i'm not sure i understand. Surely you can just use aptrigga to do the job, seeing as you have it

Haha I completely forgot it could play midi... fail.

Unfortunatly it seems to be screwing up with that as well so there obviously something wrong with sonar... I'll have to get hold of tech surport.

Download Reaper, consolidate Sonar session, mix painlessly

I will try reaper, but sonars what I'm used to and its always been stable for me so I'll try and fix it before moving platform.

-1 Reaper is nothing like Sonar and has it's own learning curve.

The only problems i've had with sonar are always to do with DXi.
Try loading your plug-ins and virtual instruments as VST / VSTi's,
This always sorted my problems out, so now I don't DXi at all.

I recently got Reaper.. don't think i'll be going back to Sonar tbh

OK, it wasn't a sonar issue at all, apple update had frozen in the background and had constant 70% psu usage. Should have checked that earlier
