need help with an effect. i don't even know what to call it.

the effect starts at the end of 0:02 through 0:05, really short and sweet.
at least, i think/hope/pray it'll be an easy thing to duplicate.

i'm trying to cover this song to help up my toolset.

i feel like this is a reverse reverb on a vocal track, and the actual vocal part was just cut out of the picture...

please enlighten me, and if you know how to do it, enlighten me further with links to other posts with the correctly named effect, or your way of knocking this kind of shit out!

Sounds like a reversed snare that has been saturated in reverb before it was reversed, faded in slowly and faded out to kill the attack, eq and compression
I think thats the effect, can be done with vocal, cymbals etc
