Hicktown New York.
I was working on this band, they did a 6 minute song, sounds epic as fuck but somewhere around measure 24 the left overhead mic got ungrouped from the right and I noticed before it was too late, we have already tracked, none of the edits have been bounced but is there anything I can do it's causing weird glitches on some cymbal parts and I really have absolutely no idea what to do. FUCK YOU CUBASE!

What exactly does your session look like right now? Is it already edited and that mic just got left out? Pretty sure you're going to have to edit it again, or do you somehow not have a way to restore the session to how it looked before you started editing?

If something like this happened in Reaper, I'm pretty sure I could just copy the other overhead track and write a script to change the source file of all of the items to the left overhead WAV file maintaining the same start offsets and it would be ready to rock ;)

Rofl I really do like reaper so much better than cubase it's unreal. everything was tracked already I haven't bounced anything so I still have all the original wavs I'm afraid if I requantize that certain things won't line up right anymore I was thinking of just highpassing the fuck out of them and lowering them alot in the mix as well blending some of the more important hits with superior cymbals to give some body back idk of this is practical if you think requantizing would be best I will definitely give it a try I really can't believe I missed it I'm so pissed

Well yeah, just go back to all the raw tracks and edit all of them together as one group starting from scratch, you shouldn't have anything to be afraid of there.

Alright will do thanks for the quick response man I was like freaking out haha
