I read Lasse's thread on drum editing. It worked well and offered a great finished product.
My issue is, I want to use the Cut and Slip method of drum editing in Cubase. I believe Joey Sturgis uses this method. Supposedly you just cut at the transient by hand and use slip to slip it into place with your auto fades/crossfades set. Jeff (DSS3) clued me in and said it works great for him, but I'm having issues. I could be stupid, I don't know. With the Cut and Slip method, there shouldn't be gaps created, but let's say I'm slipping to the left and a bunch of times to get the hit in place. Next, I have to move an early hit to the right, so I cut and slip and I get a gap. I don't know why, it's not supposed to be like this. I'm so frustrated. Does anyone have any advice?
