Need serious help with mix - single clips of mix inside.

Hi guys,
I'm in the dead end :-/ I've done till this day about 10-15 micing sessions and I'm totally, TOTALLY unable to get a good tone. And I know that good tones don't need any post EQ, but skill of getting decent tone during micing is for me 10000000 micing sessions far yet - so I decided to EQ my recorded tracks.

Chain was:
EMG81 -> TS9 -> 6505+ (crunch) -> MesaOS -> SPL Goldmike 9844 -> M-Audio Fast Track PRO

(btw, reamped with radial x-amp)

I think that's possible to get a lot better tones with that chain, but problem is for sure in my hands ;-/

Anyway, I used those recorded tracks and tried to get it into the mix, doesn't sound so bad I think ('cause I've already done a lot worse mixes), but I miss something like "spark", something, which mix would give a "shine", if u know what I mean.

Would anyone had an idea, what could be wrong with this mix and what could improve it? Feel free to EQ guitar tracks by yourself, I'll be glad to learn something new!

(BTW, in my Mix-all second guitar has slight cut in 800hz, and boost around 7000 - but Mix-guitars2.mp3 are without EQ)

Yeah, you've got too much lowend that's destroying your headroom.

the rest is pretty good, i'd say
work on the kick n snare

Actually..there is a bit of boomyness in the 100 hertz im guessing, in the guitars.
that might fuck your headroom

go emo and do some cutting.

thanks, guys, I tried to do changes as you said,

cuttings in guitar at 100hz, unbass kick, snare...., brought the upper mids higher in the bass to help the guitars, brought the second guitar up to add brightness
I think it cleaned the mix a little, but I lack now some space - some "3d feel", maybe a little brightness, would you have some ideas?

Still workin', I tried to improve the bass... and clean up the mix with sidechain between kick and bass, what do u think, guys?
