I'm having some serious latency issues with my current setup and decided its time to get a sound card. Problem is I don't know where to start.
I currently have a Firestudio Project and a pretty damn good 2core cpu with vista but it still ain't cuttin it.
I want to get something that will fix the stuttering and lag I get cubase when I run too many plugins.
I'm using a firewire connection and definitely need a card with a port in the back.
Here's my problem... Vista = Flaming Shit Hole.
The drivers are super buggy and fragile and I dont want to install the sound card only to have it not work at all.
Anyone use a FS project with vista and a sound card with no issues?
Any suggestions appreciated.
