Lately, I've grown tired of listening to the same old stuff.
Basically, I'm wanting something with a real in-your-face "metal" attitude, relentlessly heavy and aggressive with strong vocals, and preferably something groove-oriented, not melodic. Something that isn't exclusive to one genre of metal either (so for example, I'm not looking for a death metal band, but influences are welcome) and if the music is dark, and has depth that's encouraged. I also don't like music that is overly progressive or technical.
Face Down's album "The Will to Power" is the best example of what I'm looking for.
