I just recently Bought RECREATION DAY, the first Evergrey CD I own. Now I think the Cd is pretty good, could be better but pretty good nonetheless...now what I want to know is, which CD of theirs is their best...and what recommendations would you all give me on what Cd's to buy?

Well I would say any of the previous.
Even though I don't fancy The Dark Discovery as much as the rest.
And Solitude Dominance Tragedy is my absolute favourite.
But they are all good.

"In Search Of Truth" is a pretty interesting concept album, so you can guess if you would fint it interesting. Also, it is more easy to find.

Solitude Dominance Tragedy kicks the big booty, but seing how Henrik introduced me to this amazing ensamble I woul strongly recommend trying out S D T before In search of Truth just to hear how the group ages... so to speak. What a gift not to have heard their work and to be "enlightened" now LOL poor thing your doomed to listen to the GREY for the next year constantly....... MOOOHA HA AHAHAHAHhhaaahahahaaaa hrm.........

Just buy all their cd's.. If you got the money that is.. I for one love to hear how a band develops over the years. When an album really strikes me (this isn't good english, hmmmm) i always tend to buy the rest of it's work.. And if there's one you don't like afterall, sell it on ebay..
well i usually start from the first album from every band i wanna get into...but if you ask me to rank them i would say: 1) Solitude Dominance Tragedy 2) The Dark Discovery 3) In Search Of Truth 4) Recreation Day....but may this is my choise cause i follow the band from their first album....still remember the day i bought it..just before goin to an iron maiden gig in greece for the virtual XI tour...that is why i remeber that day...cause after a horrible show (pity it was the worst tour of maiden i ve ever seen but that is not the case here) i was feeling quite lucky to have bought the album and listen to it over and over again...Thanx Evergrey for that day...pity the line up changed
