They are playing a couple of shows in Texas. One is Houston and the other is San Antonio. I am from Florida too so I know how you feel, I don't understand why they have never played a show in Florida since most bands that tour will play in Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, or West Palm Beach at least. I went to the site of the place that they are playing in Houston and like the next few bands they have lined up after SyX are pretty good too such as Finntroll, Epica, Sonata Arctica, and Nightwish. Since I have a cousin who lives in Houston I should go to the Houston show and stay around a while to catch those other bands too!

Just remember, it's not that the band doesn't want to play there, it's up to the local promoters and booking people to give them a place to play...
