Yeah but I still think you're a tad over-exaggerating. Nothing personal, maybe it's just me, I come from a direct and vulgar country.
 
It's not offensive around here. It's quite embraced. Country people are awesome. Rednecks are not. Well, I take that back. Redneck women are fantastic. It's the boys, especially the unmarried ones, that I really REALLY don't care for. >.<
Since moving to the hill country outside of the delta has been quite an experience.

This reminded me of something I saw at work this week. I was reading a divorce case from the Missouri Court of Appeals in 1960 and this was one of the court's conclusions:

"For divorce purposes, appellation "hillbilly" used by wife in regard to husband's relatives was, in Southern Missouri, not generally an insult or an indignity available to establish ground for divorce, but was an expression of envy."
