Need tips to improve this pod hd tone

No eq done, raw mix at this point.

The drums really overpower the guitars esp. the snare mess around with the mix a bit and see if you can get the guitars to cut through a little more.

Yeah im trying to make them cut more without being to honky or fizzy.
Any tips guys?

Are you using the built-in cab sim?

Ah yes! If you rent already definitely use some outside cab impulses with POD for the most part you will get a better tone.

Yeah built in cab sims, i tested a lot of impulses and i ended up liking the this amp + cab better. Need to do more testing with IR but i want to get best i can without the need of loading 4 instances of an impulse loader.

You should try printing the tracks if you're happy with the sound. It'll save you a ton of CPU usage. I'm a pretty big fan of the Catharsis SPresHigh impulse through Mellowmuse IR1A. That usually DESTROYS the built in cabs in POD Farm.
