Got a band in , in a couple of weeks and there gear is lets say inferior :heh:
anyways I'm using a profire 2626 and am wondering is there a way of me di'ing his guitar and micing it up without buying a splitter/di box or anyother things? I ONLY want to use the 2626.

I have a bad feeling ima have to fork out on a DI box :(

A DI like the Radial J48 has an input, output and thruput. Guitar into input, output to 2626, thruput to amplifier. Mic in front of amp, mic into 2626.

What you could do is go straight into the Profire, and then out through a re-amp box into the amp.

Tbh you're better off using a DI though as you're not getting the AD&DA conversion that you would get through the Profire.

The Radial is pretty expensive over here but you could go for the BSS AR133 which is about £100 and is a VERY good di. Or for about £50ish there's the MTR DI-3.

Just remember, he who buys cheap, buys twice.
