Hey guys looking for some direction in reamping. I've never done it before, and want to make sure i'm not missing anything, and or trying to prevent having to retrack cause I didn't set something up right. I've got a Radial ProDI directbox, and a profire 2626 interface. I was reading the reamping guide sticky, and saw that there was alot of talk about using a preamp to run your recordings through. I also saw that in some situations It was best to run record straight into their interface such as a firepod. So my question is would it be better tracking using the DI Box or straight into the profire. Also one guitar will have actives, and the other passives.

Thanks!

??? What you say makes no sense dude? Of course he'll have to go through the Profire preamps, a DI box is not a preamp. But a dedicated DI box is likely to be of better quality than the built in DI's on the Profire.
