Negative Space and Gapless Playback

Just curious how you guys use negative space. I know it requires using the 00 index on the song, but how do you do this without SoundForge or something that expensive? I'm using Bias Peak LE but it can't do negative space I don't think, and it doesn't have waveform view so it's hard enough as it is to do gapless albums.

So what's everyone using for finishing touches and to print their masters?
