first turn off the lights. then play the Neurosis "Times of Grace" album simultaneously with the Tribes of Neurot "Grace" album.

they're in sync, but not like the boy band.

Although the pre-Souls At Zero stuff was not the same style, I still loved it. The newer stuff shows even more of a change. The band evolves, but has always been in a style I liked.

I cant believe nobody has mentioned Enemy of the Sun! Damn that album is just crushing!! But yes I agree.. all neurosis is fantasitc!

Through Silver In Blood is probably my favorite as well. Neurosis is a kick ass band who is very unique but they do take a lil while to get used to if you are new to them. I didnt really like em at first until I gave them a bit more spins in my cd player.

I would say: Neurosis-style. They created a new style of hard emotional music. Before them i never heard such an intensive music with that much styles together: hardcore, doom, death and these fantastic unique tribal-drum-parts.

Locust Star was the first song I heard of theirs aswell. I was blown away on the first spin of this. I first heard it on that Relapse sampler, Spectrum Ale. I then stumbled across Souls At Zero at a local pawn shop for $10. That's when i was truly hooked.

I agree with Valgalder with Enemy Of The Sun. I only recently got it burnt and have since listened to it a bit.Awsome album.
