My new co-worker drove me to drink.
There are three tables down there and three consultants. So, she throws all her stuff on top of the one I have been sitting at and the following exchange takes place:
her:"I am SOOOOOOOOO sick."
me: "Lovely. Is it contagious?"
her: "Can I sleep down here?"
me: *slides chair far enough back to seat self at next table in the center*
her: "I'm just about to pass out. You can't catch it."
me: *shaking head and IMing boss*
her: "So, did you get anything done on that?"
me: "It's my personal computer."
her: *gets up to grab something and "happens" to do so in a way that puts her in sight line with my monitor*
me: *turns down brightness on monitor to 0 then gets up to man the main desk that has been vacant for the last five minutes*
her: "I need that seat so I can use the internet and not leave the center."
me: "Oh well. Wait. I am running on a battery and have some work to do. *proceeds to use both desktop and laptop for unnecessary tasks out of spite*
her: "Why do you keep moving? Is it so I won't make you sick?"
me: "If someone is sitting at the table with me, clients aren't going to think I am available. Plus, this station is supposed to be manned at all times."
Rest of my shift passes with her doing homework and then telling me off for staying an extra five minutes I didn't bother documenting on timesheets (mind you, she arrived five early, went on random five minute walks, and credited herself with an extra five minutes).
