Nevermore drops off the Symphony X tour

They were doing a one off show in Colorado Springs this weekend, less than 2 miles from the house. When I saw they were off the SymX bill I thought there may have been the regular tour friction - but alas, now all shows are canceled. This be not good.

I'll just have to stick with Coheed this Thursday being the only concert I'll see this year thus far, and until ProgPower.

I was going to hit both the Raleigh and Charlotte shows, but with NM out I'll probably just do the Raleigh show. Unless of course SX decides to play 2 hours each night with a heavy setlist rotation :Smug:

Same here. I was going to hit Seattle and Portland, but now I'll just go to Seattle cuz there is no way SX will mix it up. Lazy bastards. Im so bummed that I wont get to see NM blow SX off the stage in their home town.:(

Sucks. I really hope they're not hanging it up now. I really wanted to hear the new tunes live as well as something more substantial than the 5 songs I saw when they opened the In Flames tour alongside Evergrey.

This makes it even worse that they never followed through with their PPUSA performance. They're one of those top bands I've been chomping at the bit to see a headline performance from and have never been able to for varied reasons.

For the record, they were scheduled to do a one-off headliner in Des Moines this Monday.

I'll still be going no matter who's playing with Syx. Nevermore and Soilwork dropping off just means i don't have to wait as long to see SyX. Seen Nevermore 3x and Soilwork 2x, no big deal if I don't see them again.

Actually, Jim's a good buddy of mine. I don't pretend to know, or pretend to be friends with anyone else in the band. I could really give a shit if Jason, Bob, Britt, or anyone (with the exception of Milton, he's just a cock ) else here likes it or doesn't like it. I have never pretended that we were best buds or anything, but we do probably end up talking to each other once or twice every couple of weeks or so. I'm that way with several musicians (working for a concert promoter does give you the ability to meet people and form professional relationships and friendships) and never bring it up unless it's pertinent to the topic at hand. Before passing off judgement on everyone else, I think it would do you some good to look back at your own bullshit and persona on this board before and realize in more cases than not, you really don't know what in the hell is going on. (armchair quarterback anyone?)

tl;dr Jason, you're an idiot.
