Nevermore "River Dragon" Cover.

pretty good but the guitar seems a bit low and the drums too high. also i personally think the vocals are bad.
I don't think we've had one person like the vocals. I don't either.

I agree about the snare drum being too high, but if I lower the drums too much, then the bass drum becomes inaudible, and it is an important part of the mix. I guess I'll try and fix it a little.

Wow.

Edit: If you know he sucks, and he knows he sucks, why did you post it?

Double edit: Everything besides the vocals is pretty good, though! I was pleasantly suprised with how well the solo was performed.

The playing was quite good. But yeah, I agree with everybody else... The vocalist sounds like one of the zombies from Resident Evil 2. He's still better than me, probably.

Exactly. I'm not going to hold back from posting it because the vocals are the only bad part. Keith's bass is great! Thanks keith! (We might do more in the future if you are interested)

I had no clue how the guy sounded until he sent me that exact recording... I don't want to be rude and kick him out of the band, but I'm thinking that's what needs to be done.

I'd be honored if Dan would like to record his killer vocals for us.

the guy has down syndrome, I'm sure of it. I will say though, that the guitar sounds almost flawless during the solo. Got a link to just the instrumental? I know of a few people who can sing down here. Hell, maybe I'll even give it a go, anything is better than that.

The vocals were rather lame, for sure. I think that voice may suit some sorta doom/sludge (possibly?) but it sounds horrendous over River Dragon. I'm interested to hear how Dans turns out.
