After ranting how Anders' cleans are shit, how you guys like "old IF" and new IF being shit, its really ironic you took the "pop" IF song on the top of your list. At least have some continuity with your posts, c'mon. You guys wrote 5 pages bullshit to guy who said "music theory" then come up with this?
At least I'm not bashing the band for years cause they changed their song and listen their "poppiest" song secretly.
Difference being that Anders doesn’t overextend himself on OFTW. If you think his clean vocals on OFTW are comparable to what he does these days, I don’t know what to tell you because they’re not. It’s funny that you like to assume how any of us would react if “Song X” was released today when you have no idea just like we don’t.
I can only speak for myself, but anything they release, I give it a fair shot. I don’t just play a song thinking “great, this is going to be garbage.” I WANT the songs to be good. It just so happens that I feel like a lot of them aren’t when I’m done listening. Big deal. Don’t let it ruin your day, buddy.

I don't think that incompatible. My favourite albums are CLayman and CC and they don't have that much representation in my list. Why? Individial songs are a thing, but I judge, or like, albums as a whole.
Same here. I really want them to release good songs. Or songs that I can appreciate at least. That's why I keep on listening to everything that they release. Because I think, wishful thinking, that they still have it, the ability to make good material.
I'm not even sure that what he does there can be called singing. If it is then it's in fact a very "primitive" way of doing it. But it works for the song.

Well, when I think of Reroute there are legitimately a lot of songs on there that I really like, and nothing I'd rate lower than a 7.5. I even enjoy Transparent. So, maybe for me personally it's more of a classic 5 from TJR - Reroute than the traditional classic 4 of TJR - Clayman.

As much as I like TJR and Whoracle, I have a bad opinion about his performance in those albums. Luckily, the music helps to hide it
