New and Interesting Metal for Intellegent People

Ive recently gotten into lots of djent style bands like Animals as Leaders and Tesseract but ive been into some new experimental type music. First of all there is the new band Storm Corrosion that just dropped their first album and it is quite different and very minimalist and is formed of members from Opeth and Porcupine Tree. I have also found some crazy jazz fusion bands that have a perfect amalgamation of metal and jazz. First there is the band Step in Fluid and has members from Trepalium and Klone and their debut album is a mind blower. Next we have the powerhouse three piece Trioscapes and their debut album Seperate Realities is some of the craziest and most forward thinking albums to date. The integration of the saxophone is incredible and they still manage to keep a metal edge to the music.
Really good stuff to check out for anyone interested in expanding their musical horizons.
