Heaviest to date to me is an "eh" kind of hype-statement. I don't know why so many bands say that when releasing a CD. I'd rather hear that it is "their most quality work to date" with good song writing. I love Angra, so I'm really looking forward to this. Hopefully trying to make the "heaviest record to date" won't detract from the music.

Excellent point, and I agree 10000%. "Heavy" doesn't necessarily mean "good," and for many fans, heavier is a bad thing once it gets past a certain point (self included).

For ex, I loved DT's "Train of Thought" CD (their heaviest, IMHO), but if they started saying their next one is going to be WAY heavier, I don't know that I'd like it....I'd be doubtful, anyway.
