King of the Kill had SOME good tracks but I don't remember enjoying it quite as much as the first three.
Songs have been leaked on youtube. Haven't listened to more than a few minutes, but sounded pretty boring imo

It's infinitely better than "Metal", that much I'm thankful for.
I've only heard three tracks, but it's sounding alright so far. Nothing incredible by any means, but it's a leap in the right direction.

Set the world on Fire is their best record IMO. I really ike it, coz I think that they had the best singer on that one. The new ive heard and I will be getting it. Its more Annihilatory than the last one which just seemed like a shredding album. I mean that the songs were written just for the leads, the idea that theres so many guitarists on it is cool and I like the solos. The rest however is crap, the riffs are so stale.....

Fucks sake they've used a drum machine.... EZDrummer DFH Extension. Not even changed the fucking snare on it. That sounds ugly. Feels like im listening to that shite Devin Townsend album..... DO NOT WANT!!
Okay. This album sucks major balls. Worse than Metal. Schizo Delux was so good and they've done this. Second Annihilator with a drum machine and it sucks just like the other one (Remains).
The only decent song on the album is Romeo Delight because itsgot a hard rock feel to it. But the recording is still grating on my ears.

Devin Townsend is my most hated musician.
And apperently so. Its a drum machine on this album. And it fucking blows.

I know, I don't understand why he needs to use a drum machine... I mean, get Mike Mangini back!?
Even on King of the Kill I don't see why he didn't get a bass player yet he won't get a drummer, or can't, and yet its something he can't play at all. I can't really see him being concerned about money as he seems like a nice bloke in interviews and stuff. Tis a shame.

I know why he doesn't need to get a bass player, because he can play bass. NoOoOooo idea about the drummer though.

Yeah he usually records all the bass and guitars for the albums anyway. I think he has a mental problem with/about drummers.
I didn't even notice the ezdrummer-drums until it was mentioned here. They sound crap tbh, and the vocal"melodies" are almost as bad as the drums.

Yeah, as soon as Dan pointed out the ez drummer drum, I had a listen and hes totally right, thats the kind of stuff I use to demo song, not for a Record. Maybe you would but not if youre in a band as well known as Annihilator. Just get a frikkin drummer ffs.
