I have listened to the song "Winter Thrice" over and over, and I must say that I believe these guys are still at the top of their game. Origin was cool, Urd is fantastic, and the two tracks released from this one so far sound just incredible. Whatever it takes to get Borknagar to play a show Stateside again would just blow my mind. Massive support.

"Winter Thrice" is out today and sounds excellent. Probably their proggiest release yet, but not at the expense of other elements of their sound. Hearing Vintersorg, Vortex, and Garm all in the same song (twice) is amazing, and even without Garm, I think the band did a better job of utilizing both Vintersorg and Vortex than on Urd.
As @Palabra de Dios said, I'd love to see them here in US. @Harvester is there any possibility of seeing them at ProgPower in the future or does Vortex's involvement in Arcturus relegate Borknagar to the blacklist?

I asked that question a little while ago, I believe Glenn said that Borknagar would not be considered. Maybe time has softened the stance some.
