New Cathedral, Opeth, etc... (suggest new music)

I know that the new Opeth and Cathedral are out. Can anyone elaborate on these releases and possibly suggest other new music worthy of checking out?

I've heard through the grapevine that the new Opeth is awesome, but I don't have 26 bucks to shell out for it right now since i just got the new Bruce .D. :Spin:
I can't recommend it to you because I've only listened to it once so far...Right now I would say it's balls to picaso good if not a little better...but it's nowhere near Chemical Wedding I LOVE that whole cd.

The new Opeth is another masterpiece. It does tend to lean to the prog side of things, but the mix of death, acoustic work, clean vocals, etc. is just unmatched by any other band right now. I view Nevermore songs as short stories....the music is the soundtrack to the lyrics and WD's feelings, and Opeth would be more like a novel....you almost need to hear it from start to finish...hard to rock out to just 1 song if that is all you have time for.
