Opeth "Damnation" - its really mellow, its really good. It is really laid back prog rock. If you dont really like opeth check this cd out anyway, as it is different from their other stuff. No growls, just clean singing. Not bad singing by the way.
Dream Theater - "6 degrees..." - ok i know everyone has their own opinion on this, but im gonna give mine dammit! I like it for what it is. Sure just about every song could have been a 1-3 minutes shorter, but there are some real good songs on it like the glass prison, misunderstood, great debate, 6doit part 2,4,6,7
I would not pay 20 some odd dollars for it though, i got it for 12 because the wiz was going out of business hehe.
btw - since there is gonna be a new superman movie, dont you think misunderstood would be great for the movie soundtrack?

The lyrics are great, but the music stinks.
