On the beginning of this track, what is that sound that's going on with the guitar? I'm gonna guess it's triggered by the guitar...anyone know for sure? I'm really digging this record by the way.

i just took a listen, and yes, he meant children of bodom's latest album. he does a cool rhythmic riff on guitar in sync with the low piano note (c i think)

Thing is, it sounded pretty damn tight, I almost want to say too tight, like it was triggered from guitar-->midi-->keyboard. Just curious to see if anyone knows for sure.

I'm pretty sure they didn't need to trigger it. They're pretty good musiscians and I don't think it would have been a problem. Or maybe the programmed the keyboards for that part. Regardless, I saw them live and Janne just played them and it sounded tight.

It's really not hard to hit a key on a keyboard on-time, especially if its just one note. And even if you couldn't pull that off, Beat Detective to the rescue.
