New Dream Theater tour

ı ve seen them three times before.the last one was at boston this summer and the 2nd one was in istanbul right after the six degreess off.. album came out ı was scared that they were gonna play most of the stuff from the last album but, they were very fair even played stuff from their very first album.but it looks like they changed about that now.

Get your facts straight, people!

From what I've heard from the shows that have been so far, they play almost all of (if not all of) Train of Thought, but that's still only about half the show. The rest is made up of all the CLASSICS: Learning to Live, Under a Glass Moon, Metropolis, Fatal Tragedy, and even a few treats like Those Who Help Set the Sun and The Killing Hand (both off WDADU), plus a cover of Queen's Death on Two Legs. Of course this varies from show to show, but these HAVE ALL BEEN PLAYED so far, and reports confirm that DT's live performance has never been better.

Also, the whole band has rejuvenated their image (and practiced their chops to an even more insane level), and LaBrie has lost a LOT of weight, and worked out (he's CUT! :OMG: ).

See for yourselves, they all look bitchin'!

Jordan: "If I hear one more bald joke..."
John P.: "Relax, Jordan. Compared to me, you have it easy..."
James: "It's been a dream of ours to play here..."
Mike: "See, we're not a typical prog band, otherwise the keyboardist would be wearing the cape."
John M: "..."

they palyed endless sacrifice when i saw them. i wanted them to do stream of consciousness. they did play quite a bit off of ToT, but i like the album so i was happy. i was quite surprised with the setlist, it was very different to what they normally do. oh well, i had a fantastic time, portnoy still amazes me xx

Those are the two from the new album I want to hear the most...and I agree with the surprises, that's one of the reasons I keep seeing DT, they rightfully insist on making their setlists unpredictable...

In Oslo they played all the songs off ToT (except Vacant), Metropolis pt1, Lie (or Mirror :Spin: ), Another Day, Fatal Tragedy & Finally Free :) plus one more off Scenes, The Great Debate, Trial of Tears, New Millennium (Myung really rocked with his Chapman Stick on this one  ), Anna Lee... that's all I remeber for now...

Now I can't get this constant ringing out of my head :loco: ...

im hopin they'll play honor thy father and in the name of gof and call it quits for ToT, then get back to the stuff with GOOD DRUMMING!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO shot down!
