New Enslaved ep- download legally for free

There is no apostrophe in NOVEMBERS DOOM. :)

I must say I am surprised Aeonic. I expected you to shitstorm over the idea of corporate sponsorship. $$$$$ makes things possible for any artist.
Why would anyone turn away risk free funding????

Ack. Credibility ruined by autocorrect  Still, the new one is quite possibly their best since Pale.

Look, an Enslaved fanboy is as passionate as a middle aged Bon Jovi couger. Don't cross 'em as they get really upset.

WTF you talking about?

This:

Why would anyone turn away risk free funding????

You were responding with incredulity to a non-existent argument. No one in this thread ever argued that a band *should* turn down such funding.

Why would anyone pour battery acid on their Cheerios????

You going to Reggie's Friday?

Nope, will be there tonight for Woods, but not on Friday. My adoration for 'To Welcome the Fade' has only led me to bring disappointment upon myself when checking out each subsequent album or concert, so it's long past time for me to finally give up and say that ND is no longer a band for me.

What happens for me, is that I will see a post like this, but by the time I get home from work, I never remember to go back and check it out.

Yep, that's my problem too. I guess not reading forums at work would solve that!

Boo!!! While I love To Welcome the Fade, I think the band has grown a LOT since those days, but that's just me.

Woods are great live. It would have been awesome to have both Woods and ND together tomorrow.

I seriously considered buying a Scion when I was car-shopping last year -- solely because of their (really surprising) support for underground metal. So, this DOES work...or at least, it almost worked with me. :)

By the way if KIA felt it justifiable to offer ND the same thing Scion offered Enslaved, you can bet your ass ND would jump on it. The difference is that nobody listens to them. There has to be a RETURN on that investment after all. Why would they want to invest in a band nobody cares about?

Well then Scion should sponsor Queensryche then. Even though they don't need the money.

Queensryche isn't an extreme metal band. And it's not a matter of needing the money. It's a matter of the company offering the band an opportunity to record more music outside of the label. Enslaved gets plenty of money to do their albums. They outsell and and outdraw most of the bands discussed on this board. In fact, the Dimmu Borgir/Enslaved tour last autumn probably outdrew Queensryche's last headlining tour.

But are Enslaved still considered extreme?
