New Fear Factory song!

But Rhys' part in the album is left a questionmark by that song though :erk: I hope he brings far more electronic touches to the other songs. This new song sounds so empty without any synths going on - the same problem Divine Heresy has. They're a huge part of the mood of Demanufacture, and without them it simply doesn't sound like Fear Factory :zombie:

+1 sounds very empty at the start to the point of not sounding like FF.

& Burton can't sing period! Check out Ascension of the Watchers, there is no autoTune and it is fucking awful.

Quantitisation = FF = ok by me
Autotune = FF = ok by me

It can't be that difficult to make a better album than Transgression when you have dino and gene on the project:headbang:

Well the thing with Rhys Fulber has never been that much collaborative, hasn't it? I really like what he did on Demanufacture but he basically just went in after the fact and added his sauce. A tasty sauce I must admit.

But Archetype (and the first Divine Heresy) showed me that this kind of music can also work when it's rather stripped down. I really loved Archetype when it came out...

But maybe Fulber's involement will be more apparent on other tracks. Here's hoping to it...

hmm its very bland no? where the hell is the synths and samples!

I guess hopeing for something close to Demanufacture or even better
is never going to happen.

totally Rubbish chorous too the structure of the song is a mess, seriously hope the whole album wont sound like this, the high hat pattern at the start of the song is also very annoying to me.

The riffs (if u can call dino's guitar riffs)
arent doing it for me either sounds half arsed if anything.

Im maybe 1 of the few that thought architype was actually a good album,
this just sounds pants sorry

and the production/mix is well over the top it doesnt even come close to the edge that
demanufacture had, atleast the older albums sounded atleast a little organic.

I really like FF and this song sounded brutal as fuck, but I cannot hear Gene Hoglan´s "pulse" on this...I know, I know, it´s FF, but it´s also Gene Hoglan god damn it!! I expect another performance with more life in it.

Fear Factory LIVE with Hoglan at a real drumset will be AWESOME!

Oke, Hoglan is a drum god! YES! He's freakin' awesome, love everything he does...
But it was so unnecessary replacing Raymond IMO. Raymond did a perfect job last 19 years in Fear Factory. I'm not saying Gene is not doing a good job, he's doing a great thing, but I prefer Gene doing crazy shit, and Raymond was the perfect match for FF.

For Dino riffs there's allready Divine Heresy, so he's adding nothing new with his return to FF.
And Archetype was a pretty good album!!

The point is: if he has recorded only these new fast riffs, it will be a divine heresy copy. If he has recorded some good mid tempo riffs with crushing tone, it will be a credible album

Dino seems to have lost his feeling for the mid tempo thrash riffs. Now it's all speed and banality
But I'm waiting this new album

All it seems to be is the hyper-speed style stuff, I liked slightly slower shit that FF used to do, its so much heavy sounding once it slows down a bit.

didn't they boot ray due to some sort of business issue - namely something having to do with the copyright on the FF name??

Well basically it's Burton having a problem with Christian's wife (!!) banging Raymond and being their manager. What a mess...

jesus all those dudes need to just stay away from the vagina...i have a good dino story, but don't much feel like telling it
