Same here... but if it's to attend a Fozzy concert, I'd go, shut my yap and not mingle with anyone.. and when Fozzy isnt playing, I'd cover my ears so I wouldn't hear any talk of wrestling!
 
I just finished listening to it (twice actually) and it is good. I was more shocked that the originals are quite different sounding from those on the first album, but thats not neccessarily a bad thing. I think it will grow on me. Some great covers in their too. 'Where Eagles Dare' is good, but 'Freewheel Burning' and 'Balls to the Wall' are my favs. :)

I also got the booklet signed by Chris Jericho on the weekend too. :rock:


..also, might I ask what is so wrong with wrestling fans?? Does that mean you have a problem with me and Spiff??
 
And people who criticise wrestling fans just have no idea about it at all. They still think we're all convinced it's real, etc etc. Pieces of garbage, the lot of them! :mad:
 
It was great! I enjoyed the Fan Frenzy and hanging around the hotel getting autographs and photos as much as the show though. It was a great weekend. The only thing I was pissed about was the Fozzy gig having the plug pulled. That would have been the icing on the cake! I can't wait for the DVD (it is to be released in November). Will be great watching it back with commentary. :)

They have 'Happenstance' at JBs in Melb, so they should have it (or be getting it) up your way too. :rock:

I agree about what you said about people who bag wrestling fans though. I still get people trying to explain to me that "it's all scripted you know..." and I am like "well, you watch sitcoms and soaps don't you?"...sigh... The people that bag it the most are the ones who don't understand it. My girlfriend was a classic example. She laughed in my face when I told her I was a big wrestling fan, but then she was in the room while I was watching RAW one day (like 12 months ago), and she got into it, and is now a big fan. She even went to 'Global Warning' with me. :D
Anyways, what I am saying is, don't bag it unless you have watched it and know what your talking about, and don't try and tell fans the facts, as generally, they all already know...
 
Which section in JB did you go to? I keep looking in the Metal section to no avail - perhaps it's in a different area?

You know, if I hadn't been overseas when the tickets went on sale then I would definitely have bought one and flown down. Oh well, I'm sure after the success this year they'll be back soon.

It wasn't in the metal section, but they had it on a specials type rack. I went to the metal section first and they didn't have it, so I kept looking and they had a whole rack of the album next to that section.

Apparently they signed a 3 year contract with Colonial Stadium, and already have plans to come back next year. I hope they bring the RAW guys with them next time!
