New Gamma Ray DVD and CD Out Now!

Just picked up the new Gamma Ray 2DVD and separate 2CD of Live In Montreal. The 2 hour show is fantastic! Great video and crisp 5.1 surround. Very enjoyable.

After three days I can't decide if I like the DVD better than the 2CD. The 2CD has 4 bonus tracks live so I'm leaning that way. However the DVD video clarity is crisp goodliness and audio xanadu!

Does anyone know the 3 DVD disc set is Region Free & or can it only work for European dvd players?

Got 'em both, but haven't watched the DVD's or listened to the CD's as of yet. I've been on a huge KREATOR kick lately and it doesn't show any signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Does anyone know the 3 DVD disc set is Region Free & or can it only work for European dvd players?

As far as I know it is coded for region 2 (Europe). I don't have a copy of it myself but that's what I've been hearing via various forums.

Amazon has the DVDs in Region 1 (U.S. and Canada). Thank God.

If no one gets these for my birthday or Christmas, then this is the first thing I'm getting. I need this in my life.


Edit: NEVERMIND. I didn't see the 2-DVD/3-DVD difference. Oh well .. no clue on that one .. Amazon doesn't sell it.

The third DVD which is exclusive to Europe plays on my Sony DVD player which will NOT play PAL DVD's. The back of the DVD sleeve does not note PAL or any region so I am going to assume that it is region free. If my Sony can play it then it should be fine.
