New gear! (ENGL and Valveking content)

Hi guys!
So I recently came into possession of a Peavey Valveking head and a B52 cabinet. I also have in my possession an ENGL E530, as I may have mentioned before.
I ran my ENGL into the poweramp of the Valveking, and holy guacamole, this thing is awesome.

Sounds super dark, tone sounds great other than that!

I kinda realized that after the fact, I'm going to turn the presence up on the amp a bit.

Are you micing it or running impulses? Mic be more beneficial to change mic positions depending on how the amp sounds in the room

It's miced, inch back from the cap and an inch to the left

Settings on the E530? mic? my E530 sounds much more fizzy than that

Settings on the E530 were: bass-12 o clock, low mid-full, high mid-full, treble-none, contour off.

Settings for the Valveking (poweramp) were: presence-none, resonance-full.

Mic was a SM7B with no windscreen, top right speaker, inch away and an inch to the left of the cap.
