i think i hear a bass.. quiet maybe programmed or finger played.
I don't know what kind of speakers you are mixing on but you are missing some top end/ and in your faceness i can barely hear the snare at all needs more crack.
since you are using logic use the match eq on your finished mix to see the eq difference between your mix and a commercial one

thanks for the replies.
I've tried the match eq and brought up the guitars and bass in the mix. The bass is actually a pitch shifted guitar.
I think it does sound better.. Is there any more tips? i need as many as possible

One thing that always makes a difference with ur programmed drums is routing from the vsti out to multiple channels. So u can eq/treat each "mic" separately. SD2 is awesome for this cos there are so many mics.
Another thing, drums don't seem to have any natural reverb at all. Where are the room mics? Snare still needs more crack, so turn the snare bottom up. But it all depends what ur going for obviously. Music isn't meant to sound the same.
