Edit: crap, Image code is turned off... :erk:

I remade this thread in the main SymX forum, cos the images actually show up there... Check 'em out!

Unless, J-Dub, you can turn image code on in the musicians area here...

Fuckin' sweet guitar.

I have a couple of questions though.

What pickup's are in it?
And, how do you switch between them? I only see a vol. knob hehe.

Thanks dude.

The pickups are standard Caparison pickups, they sound great, the bridge pickup is a little weaker compared to the neck, but not bad, and the neck pickup sounds absolutely amazing for leads...

The volume knob is a 'push/pull' knob, so when it's pushed in the bridge pu is in use, and pull it out and the neck pu is in use... Makes switching from that br00tal riffage to that shrieking solo a breeze... :headbang:

oops, looks like I jumped the gun with my post in the other thread. It does exist afterall! The finish looks better in your pics than they do on the website.

Oh you bastard! hahaha

That is one beautiful guitar! The only thing I dont like is the Rosewood fretboard....theres just something I HATE about rosewood lol

Depending on if I get an ENGL or not I might try to get a Cappy of ebay...perhaps...I dont know yet.

Did you join the bmusic official Caparison forum yet?

@ Meedley: They're hand sponge finished, so they all look different... I got a particularly nice one... :D

As I've pointed out earlier at the Cap forum, it's a push/push switch, dammit! :heh: :D

I like this way of switching a lot. The less switches/knobs on a guitar, the better IMO.

yeah, yeah, you're right...

It definately suits me as well, I never used the tone knobs on my old guitar, just set and forget, so it's great just having to worry about the one, so switching is ultra smooth... I just use the eq on the amp and on my pedals for tone...

rarely do I ever use the tone knob, on any guitar I've ever owned. I DID need to use it with my old Les Paul when I put a super distortion in it. Turned it into a squeal (like a pig) machine, unfortunately.....

I always mess with the tone knob between songs, or between drastically different passages. Easier for me than turning around and adjusting mids and lows on the amp head. And my feet are already busy with other fx.

I have a Stew Mac Black Ice in my LTD Hybrid...nice vintage tweed feel...don't use it too much...I have a Duncan Invader in the bridge...it breaks up nice.
