New Guitar

I just got my new guitar today. It is an Ibanez PGM 301. It is a great guitar but i will put a X2n in the bridge soon.

Good move man, PG is a friend to the end. I've been thinking about getting one for some time now, just gotta have the moola on hand. The PGM model they used to make in sky blue behind pink is so sweet.

PG is one of my faves..... but I'm not digging his signature guitar.....

At least in looks.... I'm sure it plays fabulous jus' like all high end Ibanez's....

I want to install new pickups in my guitar. Is that a difficult thing to do? I don't have any sort of soldering equipment.

well then you probably can't since thats necessary to take the wiring apart and rewire the new pickups

any competent guitar tech should be able to do this for you.

I am glad I asked about this. I have never taken that part of the guitar apart and figured they plugged in. I will have to go find a good guitar shop around here.

They are pretty cheap, I got mine for 10 bucks I think. Just make sure and practice a bit before you try it on the real thing.
