I was looking forward to this release for quite a while. Their first cd I am Anonymous is one of my favorites. I rarely ever put down a band or an album. I try to be respectful to the artists as much as possible knowing how hard it is to be creative. HOWEVER, this may be the most disappointing pre-ordered cd's I have ever received. It's not for me a bit. I know there are quite a few Anathema fans on this forum(which I am not), this cd reminds me of (not saying sounds like)an Anathema cd only no where near as good. If you want to know what this album sounds like, they have a video posted on their Facebook page that is a true and incredibly accurate representation of what to expect from the entirety of this release. If you like the video this cd is for you. If you liked I am Anonymous and think your going to get more of the same, do NOT just blind buy this cd
Sorry, just noticed a prior thread about this cd.

I respect the two perspectives above, but I could not disagree more. Until Redemption's The Art of Loss and now Headspace's All That You Fear Is Gone arrived in the mail last Friday, 2016 seemed to be off to a slow start. I really enjoyed Headspace's first release, but All That You Fear is Gone is even better. It is both more "metal" in sound and more adventurous. Polluted Alcohol is just brilliant and a bit like Nixon going to China. In this case, extremely talent prog rock/metal band goes to twangy, bluesy land and as unlikely as it might seem they pull it off spectacularly. There is little doubt that All That You Fear Is Gone will be near the top of my favorites list for 2016.

I'm also loving this. It's a bit softer than I'd like but Damian Wilson's performance is so good I don't mind. It makes for a really dynamic album with the heavy parts being REALLY heavy and so damn groovy.

I've only listened to the album once so far and I like it. Not entirely sure what you are getting at when you say it reminds you of Anathema even though it doesn't sound like Anathema? I'm guessing you are trying to say its not as heavy and metal as the debut?

I would gladly purchase this disc from anyone on this forum who didn't like it.

After twenty plus listens I still really like this album.
