Hi all, just got this tattoo yesterday... What do you think?

Awe you bastard. :p I probably wouldn't do it myself, but anytime I see someone with an Opeth "O" tattoo, I consider it for a brief second. It's pretty big, huh? Does the little "tentacle" go all around your arm or did you skip that part?

Cool tattoo

I think he would be rich enough to go "delete" it by using those laser techniques if he wants .....

Evisceratrix, were you at the milwaukee metalfest when opeth played? i remember someone had that tattoo, but i don't remember what she looked like, so it could've been you. ;)

The passion we seem to collectively feel for Opeth is significant enough to symbolize with a tattoo. When you're 70, you can always say "I was passionate about a band whose music broke boundaries, whose talent inspired thousands, and whose art changed my life." or something equally cheesy. I'd honestly consider an Opeth tattoo.

I'm just getting the design ready for my first tattoo, it's a nifty celtic design I found from a company who rubs them off gravestones. I've never seen it before or since, and I've wanted it for about 4 years, which is enough time for me to honestly go and do it now. I'll scan the design when I don't have to go to work in 15 minutes.

But to all those who showed tattoos, VERY nice work. They aren't extraneous, but rather a part of yourself, and they seem to genuinely "flow." Well done, and, hey, they could have said "Slipknot." Let's all thank Opeth that you have enough sense to avoid that. :p

Hehehe, consider the "O" tattoo like a symbol of some obscure medieval secret society. Hehheheh. Silly mental image.

Instead of shouting slogans like "up the irons!" or "stop humping the laser!" Opeth fans will just roll up their sleeves and flash hundreds of arms with the "O" tattooed on them. :) That'd be a sight.

:o haha that made me sound like some groupie slut! HAHAH
no i sat in the back of your car with martin and one of my best friends austin. :p

and just so everyone knows, martin said katatonia is better than opeth. i had to argue with him and say they are both (opeth and katatonia) truley remarkable amazing awesome fucking equal bands, but he wouldnt hear it...so take it from martin, if you havent, check out katatonia-

to Lina's question-no i wasnt at metalfest when opeth played ; (. i think that may be one of the chicks i heard about who has this tattoo though, from a friend that went that year!

they could have said "Slipknot." Let's all thank Opeth that you have enough sense to avoid that
hahahha. AAAAAAAHHHHHHHAHHAHAHAHHA. hey i dont know im still thinking about getting the danzing skull HAHHAHAHHAHA ahh just kidding! this message is waay too long :goggly:

which martin was in the car and said that???

heh heh, what i would do to either martin in the backseat, know what i'm sayin'? *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* :deb: :tickled: i'll stop now.

ok, well, now i'm just jealous beyond belief.

AND WHY DOES OPETH ALWAYS GIVE KATATONIA SO MUCH PRAISE????? Katatonia is like the antithesis of Opeth -- Jonas can't sing, the music is repetitive and predictable. Even Katatonia fans admit all this -- they like them because they're so depressing. I would think they're everything Opeth is trying NOT to be!

A little rant there. :bah:
