I think it's been in the can for a while. I think he was milking the last album as much as he could for tour support. It was his last for Curb Records. I don't know if you know the story behind Curb and Hank Sr. and III but he got fucked. He couldn't appear on thr Super Joint Ritual albums because of the clause in his contract, ect.
