Hello all,

IN THE MACHINE played our debut show last week with the bands Janus and Seasons After. It was a very fun evening and the crowd response blew us away (esp. with this being our first live show as a band).

We got in touch with a very talented local photographer/videographer by the name of Michael Lee Ring to film and document the evening for us. The end result was a very cool (if I say so myself) 5-6 minute mini-documentary that Michael put together for the band.

For anyone who would like to check it out please follow either of the links below:

The video is not on YouTube yet so I have not been able to post it directly to this post. As always, feedback is welcome.

Hope you enjoy.

Wait, is this the Corey Brown from the Progressive Metal band, MAGNITUDE NINE? I love that band and still have their albums. What ever happened to them?

Thanks Andy and Up&Away for the comments on the video. It would really be a dream come true to perform in some way at the ProgPower festival.

Yes, this is the same Corey Brown who has performed vocals with Magnitude 9, Psyco Drama, Section 16, and as of late Balance of Power.

As for Magnitude 9, which I had the opportunity to be a part of on the last CD, there is literally no activity taking place. I wouldn't officially call MAGNITUDE 9 a "dead act" just yet. More like the band is in a long standing hiatus mode. I know this is not too different than being finished (more like an attempt to keep things optimistic). All of the members are still in communication with each other mostly through emails and Facebook. Rob Johnson and I still bring up the topic of another MAG 9 CD. Maybe someday it'll happen.

Thanks,
Ian Ringler
