New killswitch

Whether you like Killswitch or not, Adam D has fucking epic stage presence.

I dare you, I DOUBLE DARE YOU MOTHERFUCKER to get up on stage in hot pants and a cape and do what Adam does.

Also their claims of most melodic YET MOST HEAVY EVAR is total bullshit.
just like every other band that's ever made such a claim, which amounts to like 90% of metal bands.
just sounds like killswitch but.. a tad more power metal?

whats up with the half-assed LOL WE LIKE TOOL screens behind them?
weak as fuck

i will reserve full judgement for the album version though
dont think its fair to judge a song based off a shitty youtube video

Eh. I know it's just youtube, but the song doesn't sound very interesting.

A little off topic, but I agree with the stage setup on the first video being a bit weak. Looking at gear is part of the fun of going to shows for me, and I couldn't imagine playing on a stage where you weren't able to see and fiddle with your own amps. I know that's the tech's job, but still. With a band like Tool it can be cool, but with Killswtich Engage it just seems weird. It also seemed like it made the band feel like they had to run around too much.

Those platforms on the sides of the stage are a bit gay, too. I know they've had those in some form or another for quite a while, and other bands do it too, but seriously.. You're already on a stage. Why the extra 2 feet?

Watching the first video, sounds pretty cool, at least it's pretty melodic and they don't have any of those chromatic/bluesy Pantera-style riffs (e.g. "My Curse" verse) that I'm not too fond of - but what's up with the itunes visualizer background? :Smug: Lame...

EDIT: HOLY FUCK is it short though, which usually means it'll get old REAL fast :erk:

I think is boring.

Tell me whatever you want, but i found their guitar player movements ridiculous, running like a fag and doing aerobics shit and jumping like that, is not annoying, is ridiculous, at least have the other guys in the band doing that shit too. i rather watch the band playing their instrument and doing just a little headbanging, than this clown running one side to another and doing flying kicks.

And yeah, i´m boring on stage, i don´t need to entertaing nobody in a gig doing clown stuff, that`s my frontman´s job, haha!!

The only thing i like about this band is their singer, he sings really cool.

Gotta disagree with that, man. Its all about the show. Put on one and have a good time and other people will automatically do the same.

Definately.
The band's with the really over the top, ridiculous stage shows are the ones that really have the crowd in the palm of their hand.

Yeah i know, but im not doing Dragon flying kicks or something like that, just good ol` headbanging at the rhythm, no need to exagerate

Do you guys want stage presence??

They had everyone in the palm of their hands.

ZZ Top and Killswitch is an unfair comparison.

Sorry for shit audio, but THAT is some motherfucking stage presence.
I don't get how anyone could dislike that sort of shit, especially metal fans.
Getting SO into the music on stage that everyone's falling over, crashing into their bandmates, just getting caught up in the heat of the moment and doing what feels right. I just don't get how a metal fan could see that as a negative.
